Enrolling in a dance class is not like buying a cup of coffee. Many families have questions before they enroll so be sure to be reachable!
[2:25] Brad shares his journey and how he and his wife analyzed the data for their dance studio and realized they weren’t getting a great return on investment with all the different platforms and services they were using. This is how Enrollio emerged… putting the dance studio needs in one platform.
[4:30] The pandemic helped launch Enrollio because they were able to help parents navigate safety protocols, host virtual classes, get waivers distributed and signed electronically and sent with automation. Now they’re helping other studios grow and automate.
[5:13] Brad is a self-learner and entrepreneur and enjoys leading a team.
[5:57] Tip #1: Be Reachable. Enrolling in a dance class is not like buying a cup of coffee. Most families have questions… what class is right for their child, etc.
[6:32] By looking at Google Analytics data, on average 85-90% of people clicking the register button on your website to enroll are not actually enrolling.
[6:45] Industry standard for bounce rate is 20-30% so 80% is an issue.
[8:00] For those of you not using Google Analytics or aren’t looking at the stats on your website, this is your call to go do that.
[8:32] Follow up and taking the initiative is extremely important as a business owner.
[8:47] Free trial classes end up being about 30% of enrollments!
[8:52] Chat widgets and contact forms are a must on your website.
[9:53] Tip #2: Two-Way Texting. Email today is the modern fax machine. Two-way texting is what email was 20 years ago. Being reachable increases retention. Your families do want to hear from you. It’s far easier to sell someone who is already sold on your service. Many studios are not reaching out to their current families to increase the revenue for their studio.
[13:20] Consistency is important. Put the information on your website, sending via email, in-studio messaging, and text messaging reminders. Have many avenues of being reachable is a far better strategy than too few.
[14:25] Tip #3: Treat Your Business Like a Dating Profile
[14:44] Brad suggests going on Google and searching your business and see what results are coming up. What images are showing? What are people saying about you? How do you look to other people?
[15:38] People are watching and they’re wanting to see how you respond to reviews.
[16:18] Make it easy for viewers to see how awesome you are before they ever reach out. Claim your Google business profile!
